About Playstack
Playstack is the London publisher behind the sharpest indie bets of the decade. The Case of the Golden Idol from 2022 revived the detective dossier, The Last Faith from 2023 scratched the gothic itch, and Balatro from February 2024 turned poker into a roguelike obsession. Abiotic Factor left early access in July 2025 as a six scientist co-op standout.
Darkwater and Unbeatable both landed in 2025, with Mortal Shell 2 following August 2026. About Fishing and Dicevaders are both posted for 2026 with demos live. The games share no worlds, so release order simply tracks the label's hot streak from Idol to Shell.
Good to know
Release order is the play order since every game comes from a different developer with its own world. Start with Balatro or Golden Idol for the fastest proof of the label's taste. The 2026 pair has posted windows but no exact days, so both sit last until dated. Deeper catalog items like Dick Wilde are skipped here in favor of the notable eight plus the two dated next.
