Packs follow: Psych Ward 2019, Cleared for Transfer May 14, 2020, Island Bound June 23, 2020, Going Green January 28, 2021, Second Chances June 16, 2021, Perfect Storm January 27, 2022, Gangs June 14, 2022, Undead October 11, 2022, Future Tech November 22, 2022, Jungle Pack February 7, 2023.
Prison Architect 2 was announced January 2024, delayed indefinite August 2, 2024, not cancelled, with closed betas January, April and September 2026 and no release date. Play base first, then enable Going Green and Gangs once you fill 100 cells, with Jungle last.
Good to know
Release order matches system order, with Jungle yards assuming canteen basics. Do not enable all eleven at once first, since gangs plus weather overwhelm new wardens. The base runs best with medium map before small. Treat Architect 2 as beta undated, with Paradox explicit it is not cancelled and betas running.
