About Siren

Siren follows villagers and outsiders in Hanuda after a siren calls the dead back as Shibito. The 2003 original sets sightjacking, timeline charts and ten survivor paths across three days. It ends with the ritual still open.

Siren 2 from 2006 moves to Yamijima island with new cast and the same time chart, while Blood Curse from 2008 retells the first story for the west in episodes. No new game has been dated. Play 1, then 2, then Blood Curse, since each reuses the chart and Shibito rules. Missions stand alone per survivor, but chart and Shibito rules grow with each game across the trilogy.

Good to know

Release order matches the best play path, since each game widens sightjack and timeline charts from the last. The original teaches Shibito stealth and mission links through Hanuda. Siren 2 adds island weapons that only click after that base. Blood Curse works as a modern start, but the ritual lands best after 2003. Start at Forbidden Siren.
