About Ultros
Ultros follows Ouji, who wakes on a cosmic Sarcophagus ship holding the demon Ultros. Hadoque released the metroidvania in 2024 with gardening loops between combat runs.
Early loops establish seed planting and loop resetting. Middle chapters add extractor bosses and shaman memory strings. Later runs stage the true ending that requires a bloomed garden. The seeds persist across loops while bosses reset, so skipping planting hides how later breaks work. Talk to shamans between fights, since recovered memories explain the ship and point toward seeds that shape later growth.
Good to know
Play start to finish across loops. The garden only grows through repeated cycles in fixed order. There is no DLC to slot elsewhere. New players should expect a colorful seven-hour loop that rewards planting patience more than rush fights. Replant cleared soil after each boss, since fuller blooms improve later movement and combat options in big ways.
