About War in the East
War in the East from 2by3 launched in 2010 as East Front grand tactics across Barbarossa to Berlin turns with rails. Don to the Danube DLC adds 1942 oil hunts with new maps. War in the West from 2015 flips to Torch to Berlin with air war and landings plus ports daily.
War in the East 2 from 2021 reboots East with new logistics and 1941 starts. Torch plus West plus East 2 form the set. No sequel was dated by September 2026, so the run stands open with mods ahead. Each front needs rail heads first.
Good to know
Play East then West then East 2 in order since logistics and pockets carry over directly each front. Later fronts assume you know the S1 Barbarossa holds and S2 Torch landings from early turns. Hexes reset each front but the rail clock builds throughout. Treat East 2 as the latest pause while 2by3 weighs more fronts.
