About The Witch's House
The Witch's House is an RPG Maker horror adventure from Fummy. The free original arrived October 2012 on VX with Ib era pixel scares. The MV remake from October 2018 rebuilds all graphics with a new difficulty mode, consoles following October 2022.
Viola enters Ellen manor as rooms shift and traps kill fast. The Diary of Ellen novel from 2013 tells the witch backstory. Endings reveal the played Viola is Ellen in her body. No new games had been announced as of October 2026, with the MV console ports standing current.
Good to know
Play the 2012 original before MV. The remake replays the same house with new art, so the free version first shows the growth. The Ellen diary novel fits between for backstory. Fixed cat save points punish wandering in both. The MV console ports from 2022 are the version to buy now for full art and new mode.
