About A Quiet Place
John Krasinski's A Quiet Place opened April 5, 2018, cost little and took $341 million worldwide. Part II followed in May 2021 at $297 million, and A Quiet Place: Day One (June 28, 2024) is a prequel set in New York on day one of the invasion with Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn, good for $262 million. The three films have passed $900 million together.
Krasinski is writing and directing A Quiet Place Part III, dated July 30, 2027. Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe return, with Jack O'Connell, Katy O'Brien and Jason Clarke joining.
Good to know
Release order is the recommendation. Part II opens on the supermarket scene from the first film's day, so starting with Day One blunts that handoff; story order simply moves Day One to the front. Alex Wolff, who plays Henri in Day One, is confirmed back for Part III, which finally ties the prequel into the Abbott line.
