About Andrew Bujalski
Andrew Bujalski started mumblecore with Funny Ha Ha in 2002 about temping. Mutual Appreciation followed in 2005 with bands and radio, then Beeswax in 2009 twinning sisters at a shop. Computer Chess arrived in 2013 shooting nerds on tape.
Results came in 2015 with gym trainers sparring, and Support the Girls in 2018 backing Regalado at a sports bar. The films share talky pals and jobs but no plots link at all. Release order shows the mumble house going pro intact. The SXSW buzz and 16mm grain carry every hang with talk.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since each hang resets its flat. Funny first sets the temp base for the run. Chess and Girls pair as his ensemble peaks to give full focus. Results breaks the run as gym turn. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2018 bar film stays last until one lands. The festival love confirms the hang, so give Chess full attention.
