About Baby
Baby is Neeraj Pandey's spy franchise about an elite counter intelligence team. Baby from January 23, 2015 follows Ajay with Akshay Kumar hunting Bilal with Rana and Kay Kay, plus Taapsee as Shabana in a Kathmandu hotel cameo. Naam Shabana from March 31, 2017 rewinds to Shabana recruited by Ranvir with Manoj Bajpayee after her juvenile past.
Shivam Nair directed the spinoff from Pandey's story with Prithviraj as arms dealer Tony. The agency, handlers and Ajay cameo link both. The origin only lands after the team debut, so keep the release path first.
Good to know
Release order is the recommended first path, since Naam Shabana assumes you know Shabana from the Kathmandu cameo. Timeline order suits a rewatch with the origin first. Either way, watch Baby for the team rules before the spinoff, since Ranvir recruiting beats hit harder in release. The Ajay cameo bridges both.
