About Bunty Aur Babli
Bunty Aur Babli is YRF's con couple comedy about small town dreamers robbing the rich. Bunty Aur Babli from May 2005 follows Rakesh and Vimmi with Abhishek and Rani chased by Dashrath. Bunty Aur Babli 2 from November 2021 jumps years ahead with new cons Kunal and Mundi copying the legend.
Shaad Ali directed part one and Varun Sharma part two with Rani returning as Babli now chasing. The cons, disguises and inspector chases reset with new lovers. The original legend only lands if you saw part one cons.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Bunty Babli worth listing, since part two continues years after the legend retires. Release order is story order. Start with the 2005 original for the Taj and sequin cons, then take part two for the copycat payoff. The Dashrath chase never cools across both films.
