About Dabangg
Dabangg is the Hindi action comedy series about Chulbul Pandey, a fearless cop in Uttar Pradesh played by Salman Khan. The 2010 original by Abhinav Kashyap sets up his rift with stepbrother Makkhi and villain Cheddi Singh. Dabangg 2 from December 21, 2012 moves him to Kanpur against politician Bachcha Singh.
Dabangg 3 from December 20, 2019 by Prabhu Deva splits in two directions, with flashbacks to Chulbul's origin alongside a present day sequel to part two. A fourth film was announced with plans for a rawer tone, but no shoot date was fixed as of late 2026, so the trilogy remains the complete released story.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Dabangg worth listing, since part three's flashbacks only explain the origin you already saw in part one. Release order gives you the jokes and reveals in the right sequence. Watch one, two, three. If Dabangg 4 gets dated, it will slot at the end as a straight sequel.
