About A Christmas Prince
A Christmas Prince follows journalist Amber and Prince Richard in fictional Aldovia. The 2017 original covers the scoop and romance, The Royal Wedding from November 2018 covers the Christmas wedding under protocol pressure, and The Royal Baby from December 2019 adds a stolen treaty and a curse scare around the birth. John Schultz directed the sequels for Netflix.
The trilogy shares its universe with The Princess Switch through royal cameos at coronations. Each film assumes the last one's marriage status, so the royal ranks only make sense in sequence. The 85 minute finale is the shortest and most mystery driven of the three.
Good to know
Watch the three films in release order, since Amber goes from reporter to queen to mother across them. The Princess Switch crossovers stay optional and add no required plot for Aldovia. The wedding and baby milestones only land in sequence. No fourth film has been announced, so the 2019 royal baby mystery is where Aldovia stops.
