Damien Leone built horror's most punishing clown from scratch. All Hallows Eve from 2013 stitched his early Art the Clown shorts into an anthology, and Frankenstein vs. the Mummy from 2015 was a detour before the real run. Terrifier from 2016 gave Art a mean low budget showcase, the 2022 sequel turned him into a box office draw, and Terrifier 3 from 2024 pushed the gore further with a 90 million dollar return on 2 million.
The timeline matches release order with no prequels to shuffle. Art the Clown's backstory stays thin on purpose across all three films. A fourth Terrifier is confirmed with an Art origin opening, though no date is set.

Release order is the story order. Start with All Hallows Eve for the shorts that introduced Art, then run Terrifier 1 through 3 straight. Some listings date the first Terrifier to 2018 for its wider theatrical push, but 2016 is the premiere year used here. Frankenstein vs. the Mummy shares no characters with Art and slots anywhere. Terrifier 4 is confirmed with a New Year Eve setting and sits last until dated.
