About Finding Nemo
Finding Nemo follows clownfish Marlin and tang Dory across the ocean to rescue Nemo from a dentist's tank. The 2003 film ends with the trio reunited on the reef, and Finding Dory picks up one year later as Dory searches for the parents she forgot.
Marine Life Interviews is a two-minute short of new arrivals talking about Dory after the sequel. The short Loving Dory plays ahead of the 2027 feature Gatto in spring 2027 with Ellen DeGeneres back. No third feature is announced, so the story currently ends on the reef with Dory home.
Good to know
Release order and story order are the same list, since Dory's film follows Nemo's by one year in both. Watch the 2003 original first, then the 2016 sequel, then the Marine Life Interviews short. Loving Dory is a theatrical short dated spring 2027 ahead of Gatto. A Finding Nemo 3 feature has not been announced, only discussed as a possibility.
