About Greg Mottola
Greg Mottola debuted with The Daytrippers in 1996 about a family chasing a note. Superbad followed in 2007 with Hill and Cera hunting a party, then Adventureland in 2009 working the 1987 park. Paul arrived in 2011 road tripping an alien.
Clear History came in 2013 as a Larry David TV film, and Confess Fletch in 2022 brought Hamm as the snooping lead. The works share talky pals and summers but no plots link at all. Release order shows his indie talk widening to studio pals intact. His TV years show in the talky pals and summer light used throughout.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since each summer resets its pals. Daytrippers first sets the talk base for the run. Superbad and Adventureland pair as his Apatow peak to give full focus. Fletch closes as the mystery turn. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2022 Fletch film stays last until one lands. His festival prizes confirm the voice, so give Superbad full attention.
