About Horrible Bosses
Horrible Bosses follows three friends, Nick, Kurt and Dale, who hate their jobs and decide the only fix is to remove their bosses for good. The first film centers on Dave Harken, Bobby Pellit and Dr. Julia Harris, and the joke is how badly ordinary people handle a criminal plan. Mother's Day weekend numbers and word of mouth made it a hit, so Warner Bros. brought back the trio.
Horrible Bosses 2 drops the murder plot and has the friends launch a shower product, get cheated by an investor, and try a kidnapping scheme instead. Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine join as the new targets, while Jamie Foxx returns as Motherfucker Jones with more bad advice.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for these two films. The sequel picks up after the events of the first and assumes you remember who got away with what, so watch them in release order. No third film has been announced, and both entries stand alone, so the pair forms a complete night without homework or missing pieces.
