Jeethu Joseph is Malayalam cinema's most prolific thriller mechanic. Memories from 2013 set the police procedural template, Drishyam the same year turned a cable operator's coverup into an industry event, and Oozham from 2016 ran a demolition expert's revenge. Drishyam 2 from 2021 continued the coverup six years on.
12th Man, Kooman and Neru ran 2022 to 2023 across mystery registers, with Nunakkuzhi as 2024 farce. Mirage from September 2025, Valathu Vashathe Kallan from January 2026 and Drishyam 3 from May 2026 keep the pace frantic. Ram with Mohanlal is stalled since 2020 over cashflow. Good to know
Release order is the suggested path. The two Drishyam films must stay paired in sequence, while the procedurals stand alone. Early films and the Tamil Telugu remakes are grouped out to keep the list to the notable run. Ram began filming in 2020 then stalled on funding with no restart date, so it sits last. A discussed Drishyam 4 has no story the director accepts yet.
