About Kabir Khan
Kabir Khan came to features from documentary work and debuted with Kabul Express (2006), a thriller drawn from his own reporting in Afghanistan. New York (2009) followed, a post-9/11 drama about three friends under suspicion, and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) turned him into a mainstream force as the first entry in the YRF Spy Universe.
After 2012 he kept mixing scale with politics: Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) became one of the biggest Hindi hits of its decade, Phantom (2015) took on counter-terror, Tubelight (2017) played a fable against the 1962 war, 83 (2021) restaged the 1983 cricket World Cup, and Chandu Champion (2024) told the story of Paralympic hero Murlikant Petkar.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing: Khan directs standalone features with no shared timeline except the Ek Tha Tiger link to the wider spy series, so release order is the viewing order. The Forgotten Army web series (2020) is a separate streaming project outside this film list. Watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan before Phantom if you want his big 2015 double bill in sequence.
