About Left Behind
Left Behind follows Steele and Buck after the rapture with Nicolae around. The original run from 2000 sets the plane, the church and the force with Kirk Cameron across three films to 2005. It ends with the tribulation run.
A reboot arrived in 2014 with Cage, followed by Rise of the Antichrist in 2023 with new cast. It keeps the books but tells a separate run. Watch the original trilogy first, then the reboot films, since themes echo but casts never cross. Films stand alone per trumpet, but force and church beats grow with each run across the rapture.
Good to know
Release order keeps the two runs apart, because the reboot restarts with new actors. The original works alone for rapture arcs, but the reboot format lands best after the book rules. No new film has been dated, so the 2023 entry is the current end. Start at the 2000 film for the full force rules. The original works alone for arcs, but the reboot format lands best after the book rules and force.
