About Mammootty
Mammootty debuted with Mela in 1980 about cycle racers, then Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha in 1989 about Chandu folklore won national notice. Thaniyavarthanam in 1987 about family curses plus New Delhi in 1987 set early highs.
Peranbu side plus Unda in 2019 about police plus Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam in 2022 about spirit swaps plus Kaathal in 2023 close later arthouse. Each film resets roles but keeps craft, so order tracks range more than plot. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone. New jobs appear often, with each fix teaching care without losing humor and keeping friends clear.
Good to know
There is no shared story to reorder since films stand alone with new roles each time. Watch Oru Vadakkan first for folklore entry, then try Unda for police. Treat the run as ongoing since Mammootty acts often, with Kaathal as the current endpoint. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
