About Phantasm
Don Coscarelli directed the first four Phantasm films, following Mike Pearson, his brother Jody, and Reggie the ice cream vendor as they fight the Tall Man across decades. David Hartman directed the finale, Phantasm: Ravager (2016), which closes the story after Angus Scrimm's final turn as the Tall Man.
Release order is story order, so one list covers the whole series from the 1979 original through Ravager.
Good to know
Angus Scrimm died in January 2016, months before Ravager premiered, and no new film has been announced as of September 17, 2026. Phantasm II recast Mike with James LeGros, and A. Michael Baldwin returned to the role from part three onward.
