About Pitch Perfect
Pitch Perfect follows the Barden Bellas a cappella group led by Beca, played by Anna Kendrick. The first film (2012) builds the group toward the ICCA finals. The second (2015) rebuilds after a suspension ahead of Copenhagen. The third (2017) reunites graduates for a USO tour competed against bands with instruments.
The spinoff series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin streamed in 2022 with Adam DeVine's Bumper chasing a German career. No fourth film has been announced, with the cast saying in interviews the tour finale closed the group story by design.
Good to know
Watch the three films in release order, then Bumper in Berlin as an epilogue, since Bumper's character growth assumes the trilogy. The riff-offs and finale setlists reward seeing each routine once, so resist clip compilations before the films. The stage musical adaptation in development shares songs but no continuity with the screen Bellas.
