About Rakshit Shetty
Rakshit Shetty has directed one feature and built a studio around it. Ulidavaru Kandanthe from 2014 wove coastal crime through Rashomon viewpoints with him starring as Richie, winning the state debut award. Kirik Party, Avane Srimannarayana, 777 Charlie and the Sapta Sagaradaache pair followed with him writing, producing or acting under other directors.
Richard Anthony brings Richie back as a younger gangster in a sea origin story, announced with no locked date. Watch Ulidavaru first since the announced film assumes the Richie myth. No other directing feature is dated.
Good to know
Release order is the only order with one released feature directing credit. The Paramvah collaborations carry his writing and acting, not direction, with Rishab, Sachin, Kiranraj and Hemanth at the helm. Richard Anthony is announced as his directing return with no date, sitting last. Start with Ulidavaru for the coastal Rashomon grammar.
