About RoboCop
RoboCop starts with Verhoeven's 1987 original about Alex Murphy rebuilt by OCP, then RoboCop 2 in 1990 pits him against the Nuke drug and the Cain cyborg. RoboCop 3 in 1993 moves to Delta City evictions with a new lead, and the 2014 reboot with Joel Kinnaman retells the origin separately. Rogue City from 2023 slots its game story between films 2 and 3 and is the best-received entry in years.
Television branches wide: the 1988 animated series, the 1994 live-action series, Alpha Commando in 2030 animation, and the Prime Directives miniseries in 2001 about an aging Murphy. An Amazon series from Wan and Blumhouse was ordered in July 2026, and RoboCop Returns is planned as a direct sequel to 1987 ignoring the rest. Films first, then pick a branch.

Watch the three original films in release order, then branch. The 2014 reboot shares nothing with them, Rogue City assumes films 1 and 2, and each TV run reinvents Murphy separately. Prime Directives works as an alternate older-Murphy ending. The Amazon series and Returns film have no dates, so treat the list as complete until one lands and declares its continuity.
