About The Descent
The Descent traps six friends in Appalachian caves with crawlers after Sarah loss. The 2005 Marshall film runs tight pit climbs with Juno betrayal and two endings for UK and US cuts. Part 2 in 2009 drags Sarah back with a rescue crew and oxygen twists.
Watch the 2005 film first since the sequel assumes the cave layout and Juno fate. The UK ending runs bleaker than the US cut, so prefer it where available for the intended close. No third Descent has been dated, which leaves the two Lionsgate entries as the set with the caves sealed.
