About The Shaggy Dog
The Shaggy Dog opened March 19, 1959 with Fred MacMurray as Wilby turning sheepdog via ring. The Shaggy D.A. followed 1976 with Wilby as adult lawyer turning again. Return of the Shaggy Dog arrived 1987 as TV film with Wilby kids. The Shaggy Dog remake arrived March 10, 2006 with Tim Allen as Dave Douglas.
