About Tomm Moore
Tomm Moore co-founded Cartoon Saloon before directing The Secret of Kells in 2009 about Brendan inking books. Song of the Sea followed in 2014 with Saoirse singing seals home, then Wolfwalkers in 2020 running Robyn with wolves.
The films share spirals and songs but no plots link at all. Each runs hand drawn on purpose. Release order shows the Saloon eye widening from books to woods with the same folklore intact throughout. The ink spirals and seal songs carry every myth with light. The forest lights and seal songs fill every myth with spirals.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since each myth resets its isle. Kells first sets the ink base for the run. Sea suits seal nights while Wolves close as the pack peak. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2020 wolf film stays last until one is announced. The Oscar nods confirm the isle, so give Kells full attention.
