About Twilight
The Twilight Saga ran five films from 2008 to 2012 adapting Meyer's four books in order. Twilight introduces Bella and Edward in Forks, New Moon splits them, Eclipse forces the triangle choice, and Breaking Dawn parts 1 and 2 close with the wedding, the child, and the Volturi standoff.
The story is complete on film, and the next entry is animation: Midnight Sun retells the first book from Edward's perspective as a Netflix series now in production in Los Angeles from August 2026 through May 2027. No release date has been set, so the five films remain the full watchable set for now.

Watch the five films in release order, since Breaking Dawn was split in two and the second half assumes the first. Story order matches release order exactly, so no second list is needed. Midnight Sun will retell rather than continue the story once dated, which makes it a companion rather than a sequel, and the books stay the only way to read ahead.
