About A Discovery of Witches
A Discovery of Witches from Sky adapts Deborah Harkness All Souls trilogy about witch Diana and vampire Matthew. Season 1 ran eight episodes September to November 2018 on Sky One with Oxford manuscript. Season 2 ran ten January to March 2021 with Elizabethan London timewalk.
Season 3 closed seven January to February 2022 on Sky Max with Sept Tours showdown. The show totals 25 episodes with Bad Wolf producing. Story order matches release across trilogy books, so seasons straight is the path. No season 4 is planned since trilogy is done.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 to 3 in order since Ashmole and Congregation clues stack. Each episode runs 45 minutes with Oxford and Venice shoots. Season 2 time travel needs season 1 romance to land. The books hold more daemon lore, so read after for contrast. All seasons stream on Max and Sundance Now with Blu rays out.
