About Uncharted
Uncharted follows young Nathan Drake meeting Victor Sullivan for treasure hunt origin. Ruben Fleischer directed for Columbia with Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle. The film premiered February 2022 in Barcelona and opened February 18 in the US, earning 407 million on a 120 million budget.
Sony confirmed a sequel with Wahlberg noting script work in 2023 to 2024 and DigitalSpy marking it confirmed without date in 2025. The first film ends with mustache, Sam alive and Roman teases for Drake Fortune. Games parent covers Drake Fortune to Lost Legacy separately with the film as prequel origin.
Good to know
Watch the 2022 film first. The sequel will continue directly when dated, so the origin is required. Post credits set Sam, Chloe and Roman threads for part 2. Wahlberg mustache talk aside, no filming has begun. Keep release order and add part 2 at the end once Sony dates it. Games can play any time around the film.
