About Vacation
Vacation began with Harold Ramis in 1983 about Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, driving the family to Walley World. European Vacation (1985) tours London to Rome, Christmas Vacation (1989) from Jeremiah Chechik stays home with Cousin Eddie, and Vegas Vacation (1997) gambles the family. Christmas Vacation 2 (2003) follows Eddie on TV, and Vacation (2015) sends grown Rusty repeating the drive.
The kids change actors nearly every film by tradition, with Audrey and Rusty aging inconsistently on purpose. No new film has been announced, leaving the 2015 reboot as the current endpoint rather than a new run's start.

Watch the Chase four plus Christmas in release order, since Clark and Ellen's marriage and Eddie's chaos assume sequence. The 2003 TV film and the 2015 reboot work as extras after the core run with their own Griswolds. Randy Quaid's Eddie steals every entry he visits, which plays best with the family setup fresh.
