About Welcome
Welcome is Anees Bazmee's gangster wedding comedy about dons Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai trying to marry off their sister. Welcome from December 2007 pairs Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif with Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor, loosely from Mickey Blue Eyes. Welcome Back from September 2015 brings back Uday and Majnu with John Abraham in Dubai.
Welcome to the Jungle from 2026 expands to a jungle mission with the same don duo plus a huge ensemble. Feroz Khan's RDX anchors part one as his last screen role. The plots reset each time around marriage mix ups, so no film spoils another.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Welcome worth listing, since each film restarts the wedding chaos with new grooms. Release order is the best laugh path. Start with the 2007 original for Uday and Majnu at their peak, then Back for the Dubai scale, then Jungle last. The jokes assume you know the don act.
