About The Wolf Man
The Wolf Man from 1941 introduces Larry Talbot bitten in Wales, ending with the silver-cane tragedy. Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man from 1943 revives Talbot into the monster rally, continuing through House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula and the 1948 Abbott and Costello crossover.
The 2010 Wolfman remakes the 1941 story with del Toro's Talbot, and Wolf Man from January 2025 reboots it again with Whannell and Abbott. The 40s rally forms one Talbot arc while the modern films each stand alone. Watch the rally in order, then the remakes separately.
Good to know
The 1941 through 1948 films share Talbot across the Universal rally, so release order is story order for that arc. The 2010 and 2025 films are separate remakes with no link to the rally or each other. The Dark Universe remake attempt died with the 2017 Mummy. No new Wolf Man is dated. Start with 1941 for the rally or jump to 2025 for the modern take.
