About Alphas
Alphas follows Dr. Rosen guiding five enhanced humans for the Defense Department. Season 1 ran 11 episodes from July 11 to September 26, 2011 on Syfy. Season 2 ran 13 episodes from July 23 to October 22, 2012 with Parish's Red Flag rising. Syfy cancelled it January 2013.
Zak Penn co-created it. The team splits across loyalty lines in Season 2. No TV film resolved the finale. The 24 episodes form a closed run with an open end. The Binghamton lab backstory rewards close viewing, since Rosen hides key details early.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order with no shortcuts. Season 2 assumes you know the Binghamton setup and Nina's push ability. The finale sets up a war that never filmed, which is worth knowing before starting. With no comics continuation in the list, the 2012 closer remains the stop. Watch both seasons close together to keep powers straight.
