About Heroes
Heroes follows ordinary people discovering powers after a solar eclipse, from Claire's healing to Peter's absorption, with Company men and time travelers pulling them toward an exploding New York. Season 1 builds that collision across twenty-three episodes.
Later volumes shrink after the writers' strike, moving through fugitives, a carnival conspiracy and a final redemption arc across seasons 2 to 4. Heroes Reborn from 2015 is a thirteen-episode event set years later with a mostly new cast. Watch straight through, since every volume assumes the eclipse origin.
Good to know
Release order is story order, with Reborn set years after season 4. Season 2 runs only eleven episodes because of the 2007 writers' strike, and season 3 splits into Villains and Fugitives volumes. A Dark Matters web prequel bridges into Reborn and is optional. The pitched Eclipsed revival is no longer in active development, so this list is complete.
