About American Housewife
American Housewife stars Katy Mixon as Katie Otto mocking rich Westport moms while raising three kids. Season one from October 2016 runs 23 episodes setting Taylor school and Oliver schemes with Diedrich Bader support. Creator Sarah Dunn keeps each episode to one PTA war and shopping trip.
Seasons two to five through 2021 add 80 more to 103 total with new schools and Viv recast plus jobs. ABC cancelled the show in May 2021, so the fifth finale stands as the end. Watch all five for the complete Otto run with calm payoffs and toasts.
Good to know
Watch seasons one to five in order since Katie, Greg and kid ages carry over directly each year and school. Later runs assume you know the S1 Westport move and S2 Taylor band from early wars and malls. Gags reset weekly but the Otto love builds throughout every trip. Treat the 2021 finale as the planned close with a family toast.
