About Arrested Development
Arrested Development follows Michael Bluth holding the family company as Gob, Tobias, Lindsay, Buster and Maeby spiral. Three Fox seasons from 2003 to 2006 set the model home and stair car, season 4 from 2013 splits 15 character chapters on Netflix, and season 5 from 2018 to 2019 closes the murder mystery in two halves.
Netflix recut season 4 into 22 chronological episodes as Fateful Consequences. Watch in release order since narrator jokes and fakes assume the original split. The remix works as a rewatch rather than a start, because character overlaps land harder after the puzzle cut.
Good to know
Release order beats chronological order first time because season 4 hides overlaps on purpose. Watch Fox seasons 1 through 3 straight for the company arc, then season 4 original cut, then season 5. Save the Fateful Consequences remix for a second pass. Treat season 5 part 2 as the planned end, with no sixth season dated and the family left mid scheme.
