About Les Bronzes
Les Bronzes follows the Splendid troupe with Jean-Claude Dusse, Popeye and Gigi on holidays. Les Bronzes from 1978 sets the Val d’Isere ski rules with chairlift and fondue gags. Les Bronzes Font du Ski from 1979 moves to sun and jet ski farce.
Les Bronzes 3 from 2006 returns years later with the same friends older and divorced. The films share the same loser logic across all three, so release order tracks the aging best. No fourth Bronzes was made, which leaves the three as a closed holiday set.
Good to know
Start with the 1978 ski original to learn the gang rules well across slopes, then take the sun sequel as the peak trip. The 2006 reunion assumes the 1970s wait seen, so it plays flat as an entry. Films can be sampled, but Dusse jokes land better in order. Treat the three as complete, since a fourth stayed talk.
