About Badly in Love
Badly in Love follows delinquent youth dating raw in Japan as reality. Season 1 (2025) runs 10 episodes from December 9, 2025 with E1 to 4 Dec 9, E5 to 7 Dec 16, E8 to 10 Dec 23, reaching No 8 Global non-English. Season 2 (2026) runs 10 episodes from August 4, 2026 with E1 to 4 Aug 4, E5 to 7 Aug 11, E8 to 10 Aug 18, renewed December 24, 2025.
Netflix Japan produced the romance reality with yankii culture front. No third season has been announced as of October 2026, with FutonCritic listing 2 seasons completed August 18, 2026. Watch in broadcast order, since the couple swaps and the charm tests carry straight over.
Good to know
Broadcast order is the only order, with couples forming across both runs. Season 1 sets the yankii honesty rules that season 2 reopens with new faces. Season 2 plays latest across 10 episodes to August 2026. Treat season 2 as latest released rather than final, with no S3 dated but the format open. The reunion edits reward patience.
