About Barnaby Jones
Buddy Ebsen plays Barnaby Jones, a retired private eye in his sixties who returns to work after his son Hal is murdered in the first episode. He runs the agency with Hal's widow Betty across 8 seasons on CBS, joined by J. R. Jones from season 5.
