About Battlestar Galactica
Battlestar Galactica centers the 2003 miniseries and four seasons from 2004 to 2009 with Adama's fleet fleeing the Cylons. Razor from 2007 slots inside season 2 around the Pegasus arc, and the webisodes fill gaps: Resistance before season 3, Razor Flashbacks with Razor, and Face of the Enemy inside season 4. The Plan from 2009 retells the early attack from Cylon eyes and plays best mid-season 4.
Caprica from 2010 prequels the fall by fifty-eight years with the Adama and Graystone families, and Blood & Chrome from 2012 follows young Adama in the first Cylon war. Both prequels assume the main series, so save them for after Daybreak. The 1978 series and Galactica 1980 form a separate continuity for completists only.
Good to know
Watch the miniseries, then seasons 1 to 4 with Razor and the webisodes slotted where they aired. Razor contains late season 2 spoilers despite its flashback structure, and Face of the Enemy only makes sense inside season 4's mutiny stretch. The Plan works as a Cylon-side recap once the fleet story is known. Caprica and Blood & Chrome close the run as prequels, never open it.
