About Benidorm
Benidorm follows holidaymakers and staff at the Solana hotel in Spain, created by Derren Litten for ITV. Series 1 from 2007 sets the Garveys, the swingers and Mateo across short half hour episodes. Series 2 and 3 move to longer episodes, with hour specials bridging the gap and new faces joining the pool crowd.
Series 4 through 10 run from 2011 to 2018, with Joyce Temple Savage taking over the hotel and the Dyke and Dawson families arriving later. The show ends in 2018 after 10 series and 74 episodes. Watch in broadcast order, since returns and exits assume you know who checked in before.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Benidorm worth listing. Each series covers another holiday season in release order, with no flashback runs to reorder, so release order and story order are the same list. Slot the 2010 Christmas special before Series 4, and treat Benidorm Live as an optional stage extra after the TV run.
