About Blossoms Shanghai
Blossoms Shanghai is Wong Kar-wai's first TV series, a 30 episode Shanghai epic about A Bao rising through the 1990s stock boom. It aired December 27, 2023 to January 9, 2024 on CCTV-8 and Tencent Video, streaming in the US on Criterion Channel from November 2025. The three women and the Peace Hotel table carry the run.
The series is a single closed story with no part 2 ordered. Its finale settles every ledger. Watch the ranges below in order since the stock deals and betrayals stack across the thirty.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 30 in order. The 1990s deals and the love triangles stack across the run, so the finale only lands with the full thirty behind it. No second season or part 2 is ordered by CCTV or Tencent. Uncorroborated 2026 listings carry no official source. The Jin Yucheng novel sits behind the show as background.
