Castle Rock remixes King's Maine town across two standalone Hulu seasons from 2018, weaving Shawshank, Misery and Salem's Lot references. Season 1 runs ten episodes around Henry Deaver and the Kid in Shawshank's shadow.
Season 2 from 2019 runs ten more around young Annie Wilkes and the Merrill family feud with no returning plot from season 1. The show was cancelled in 2020 after the two runs. As an anthology, either season works first, though release order shows the format loosening. Watch both in air order.
