Apple canceled the series on August 3, 2023 after one season. The eight episode order adapts Garth Risk Hallbergs 2013 novel in condensed form. Episode 6 arrived May 31, 2023 on a Wednesday while the rest kept Friday slots.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 8 as released. Flashbacks to the 1970s explain the family money but do not create a second order. Episode 1 opens on the park shooting, the middle hours follow Charlie and the police, episode 8 named In the Dark closes the case. No second season or film continues the plot forward.
