About Community
Community ran on NBC from 2009 to 2014 for five seasons, then moved to Yahoo Screen for season six in 2015. It follows Jeff Winger and six fellow Greendale Community College students whose study group becomes the center of increasingly wild genre parodies, paintball wars and animated episodes.
Peacock ordered a Community movie in September 2022 with most of the cast returning and Dan Harmon writing. Cast and producers confirmed through 2026 that it remains in development with scheduling still being lined up, but no filming date has been set.
Good to know
Watch one through six in broadcast order. The gas-leak fourth season with new showrunners still counts for continuity, and season five addresses it directly, so skipping it breaks later jokes. The movie will continue the story once filmed, joining the end of the list. Deleted scenes and webisodes are extras only and fit nowhere required.
