About Counterpart
Counterpart stars J.K. Simmons as Howard Silk, a bureaucrat discovering a parallel world crossing beneath Berlin across two Starz seasons from 2017 to 2019. Ordered straight to two seasons of ten episodes each, the show plays its spy plot and its identity doubles in lockstep.
Watch season one before season two since the crossing rules and the character mirrors build directly. Starz passed on a third season in early 2019 and shopping to streamers found no pickup, so the twenty episodes stand complete.
Good to know
Release order matches story order across a linear two season arc, so no alternate list is needed. Produced by MRC as a straight two season order, the finale works as an ending with both worlds changed forever. With no revival since the 2019 pass, these twenty episodes are the whole guide for the crossing story.
