Three seasons in order.

About Crashing

Crashing follows Pete Holmes as a sheltered comic whose wife leaves him, forcing him to crash on New York couches while chasing stand-up spots. Artie Lange mentors him through clubs, churches and late-night sets. The HBO series aired three seasons from 2016 to 2019.

Season 1 establishes Pete's divorce and the Lange friendship. Season 2 moves into touring and the Comedy Cellar politics. Season 3 follows the late-night shot and the decision to leave the couch life. Real comics play versions of themselves, and their advice builds across years. Skipping ahead hides why later stage time feels earned.

Good to know

Watch seasons one through three in order. The stand-up career moves forward each year, with club owners and bookers returning without reintroduction. There is no alternate chronology, since tours only happen after open mics. New viewers should start at the pilot to meet Pete before the wider comedy-scene cast appears.
