About Dear Edward
Dear Edward follows 12 year old Edward Adler, the lone survivor of a plane crash, and the families linked to the other passengers. Episodes 1 to 3 premiered February 3, 2023, then one arrived weekly on Fridays through March 24, 2023. Colin OBrien plays Edward with Connie Britton and Taylor Schilling in support.
The series adapts Ann Napolitano novel of the same name. Apple canceled it on April 19, 2023 after one season. Each episode pairs Edwards present with letters and visits tied to the victims, building to the Shelter finale.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 10 as released. Letters and memory scenes fill in the passengers but do not form a second timeline. Episode 1 covers the crash, the middle hours follow grief groups and guardianship, episode 10 named Shelter closes the first year. No second season was ordered, so the ten episodes are complete.
