About Diary of a Future President
Diary of a Future President follows Elena Cantu, played by Tess Romero, narrating middle school toward the presidency with Gina Rodriguez as adult Elena across two Disney Plus seasons. Season 1 from 2020 sets the diary device, brother Bobby plots, friend Sasha and the school election across ten episodes.
Season 2 from 2021 covers camp summer, family business strain and student council steps with returning teachers. Watch in release order because diary lessons stack. Disney cancelled the run in 2021 with no revival announced for Elena.
Good to know
Release order matches school years for Diary of a Future President, running from diary start to camp, so no separate chronology is needed. Watch both ten-episode seasons straight through for Elena family and council beats. Future flashes frame each episode but snap back fast, so keep strict release order.
